　　动词的ing形式

　　概念解释：按照传统的语法定义，动词的ing形式一种称为“现在分词”，另一种称为“动名词”;为了简化概念，我们在此统统称为“动词的ing形式”。在前面的总论中我们就有所提及：动词的ing形式属于非谓语动词，也就是说，它们不能单独作谓语动词，必须要借助别的词(一般是系动词)。动词的ing形式可以作主语(即：一个句子1的位置)和宾语(即：一个句子3的位置，也可能是在介词后面作介词的宾语)，也可以相当于形容词来作定语。

　　示例1：Fishing is my favorite sport.(放在1的位置上，作主语)

　　示例2：I often fish for hours without catching anything.(在介词without之后，作without的宾语)

　　示例3：Instead of catching fish, they catch old boots and rubbish.(在介词of之后，作of的宾语)

　　示例4：After having spent whole mornings on the river, I always go home with an empty bag.(在介词after之后，作after的宾语)

　　示例5：You must give up fishing.(在介词up之后，作up的宾语)

　　示例6：I’m not really interested in fishing.(在in之后，作in的宾语)

　　示例7：I’m only interested in sitting in a boat and doing nothing at all.(在介词in的后面，都是作in的宾语)
